I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Florida. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from Syracuse University in 2023, where I received rigorous training in causal inference methods.
My research focuses on the economics of education, with expertise in U.S. K–12 education. I have studied school accountability policies and a student health program, and I am knowledgeable about student assessments—particularly the validity of interim assessments in predicting state summative outcomes. Beyond academic performance, I have examined students’ social-emotional learning (SEL) skills, highlighting the protective role of SEL competencies in supporting student learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
